Questions, answered
- How much does a bespoke frame cost?
- From £115, priced live as you design — a mounted 40×50cm oak frame is typically around £230–£280 including VAT. The price you see is the exact workshop price, with a full breakdown.
- How long does it take?
- Each frame is made to order at the bench — allow 4–5 weeks, then collect free from our Bollington workshop or have it delivered.
- Is there a size limit online?
- Up to 1 metre on the longest side online. Larger pieces are very much our thing — they're quoted personally by a framing consultant (see our box frames and oversized work).
- Acrylic or glass?
- Online frames are glazed in premium acrylic — lighter, shatter-resistant and safe to ship, with Optium Museum® anti-reflective, 99% UV as the gallery-grade upgrade. Glass is available through our workshop service.
- What if it isn't right?
- If your frame arrives less than perfect, we'll make it right — and a framing specialist confirms every detail with you before work begins, so there are no surprises. Your statutory rights are unaffected.
- How do you get my artwork?
- We post you an artwork tube to send your piece safely — or upload your image and we'll print it for framing.
